Young Women Leaders To Do

What my young women need to do:

  • Register for camp, including permission slips - by April 12, 2026

  • Pay for camp - due by April 26, 2026

  • Print off the packing list and start packing

What my YCLs need to do:

  • Attend YCL Meetings

  • Select 2 committees to work on (will do this at their meetings)

  • Be familiar with their YCL Responsibilities (listed on the camp website)

What I need to do before camp:

  • Register for camp, including permission slips - by April 12, 2026

  • Make sure all the YW are registered on time

  • Help the YW with ideas on how to pay for camp

  • Make sure the Stake has your YW's Camp money by April 26, 2026

  • Help ward young women develop a camp roll call cheer

  • Plan ways to make camp special for your Ward YW

  • Plan ways to make your "Ward Area" feel like home to your girls

  • Plan what to do during your ward time.

  • Prepare, plan, and gather all camping equipment needed for your ward.

  • Complete all precamp activities. (More info to come)

  • Verify which leaders/young women will be arriving late or leaving early. All young women are asked to ride the bus unless they arrive late or leave early. Please plan for at least 2 of your ward leaders to ride the buses to and from camp with your young women. Youth should not be riding in cars with leaders.

  • By April 26, 2026, turn in the total number of leaders/youth riding the buses. (We need this information to reserve bus space) â€‹

What I will do during camp:

  • Be at the Stake Center at 7:30 am (youth arriving at 8:00 am) on Wednesday, May 27th, to “check in” your ward YW.

  • Ensure the well-being of your Ward YW.

  • Keep a watchful eye on all the YW attending camp

  • Bring a spirit of edification and enthusiasm to camp

  • Plan to have scripture time daily

  • Help make your ward area a home for the young women

  • Do a headcount of the YW in your tent just before "lights out."

  • Participate in all activities, including group activities, downtime, and fully enjoy yourself and your experience at camp.

  • Ensure that all young women and gear return home safely.
